Every story here follows one driver on one journey. A real road, a real load, a real problem that drivers actually have, and then the thing that should not be on the road with them.
The roads are real and so are the hazards. The Nullarbor really is that empty. Ice really does come off a trailer like that. What happens to the driver is invented, and every story says at the end which parts were checked and which were made up.
Nothing here is taken from anybody's account of their own life. These are invented people on real roads.
